LOW-CALORIE BERRY CRUMBLE

INGREDIENTS FOR THE CRUMBLE TOPPING:

  • 1 Cup rolled oats

  • 1 Cup unsweetened applesauce

  • ½ Cup finely ground almond flour

  • 1-2 Tbsp granulated stevia

  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract

  • Cinnamon


INGREDIENTS FOR THE BERRY FILLING:

  • 4 Cups mixed berries (fresh or frozen)

  • 2 Tbsp finely ground almond flour

  • 1-2 Tbsp granulated stevia (more if the berries aren’t as sweet)

  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract

  • Cinnamon


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F

  2. Combine all the crumble topping ingredients in one bowl and the berry crumble ingredients in another bowl

  3. Grease a deep dish (9 inch square cake pan), place the berry filling evenly in pan and top with the crumble topping

  4. Bake for an hour and then broil on high for 2-3 minutes to make it golden brown on top

  5. Serve as is or with a scoop of @halotopcreamery oatmeal cookie lower calorie/ lower sugar ice cream
